Medicine Before the Holocaust

The human trials may have been a terrible thing but it helped improve modern medicine. From the Holocaust we now know that x-rays and DDT is very toxic for our bodies. That also goes along with tobacco. 


The Nazis were the first to develop high electron microscopes and were the first to promote self breast examinations to detect tumors at an early stage.

The Holocaust may have provided very gruesome trials, but it provided us with a vast amount of information that can make our everyday life better

​

Hitler used Jews as a scapegoat, blaming them for Germany's economic and social problems. 

​

Pre-Holocaust German art celebrates the doctor as a hero, triumphant over disease and poor hygiene. Little did we all know that doctors could be mad, cruel people willing to murder and torture just to get data.
